Multicultural Youth Choir

Voices Rising is a choral performance program with a focus on cultural and musical diversity. From African celebrations and traditional Chinese love songs to American musical theatre hits, it’s all about our shared love of singing.

Working with our community partner, MAGMA (Multicultural Agency of the Greater Moncton Area), Voices Rising brings young newcomers to Canada together with longtime residents to sing, learn, and make new friends.

Membership is open to kids in Grades 1-12. Divided into groups according to age, the singers meet every week to prepare engaging choral repertoire for concerts and performances at community events.

Weekly rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons at:
Voice Studio Melody Dobson, 426 Blythwood Avenue, Riverview.

The membership fee is $125 per session (fall/spring). Sibling discounts apply when registering two or more children. The fee includes a package of sheet music, audio tracks for practising at home, as well as some uniform items on loan. We offer bursaries to families with financial barriers to participation.
