Voices Rising is a youth choir program with a focus on cultural and musical diversity. From lively African dances and ancient Chinese melodies to Broadway showstoppers and classical masterpieces, it’s all about our shared love of singing.

Open to kids and teens from Kindergarten to Grade 12, our singers are grouped by age and experience, meeting weekly for upbeat rehearsals that build real musical skills. Along the way, they make new friends, share a lot of laughs, and become part of a vibrant musical community.

Throughout the season, our choirs perform in concerts and community events where they get to shine on stage and share what they’ve learned.

MAGMA and Voices Rising - Fostering Connections through Music

Moncton, one of Canada’s fastest-growing areas due to immigration, presents a unique opportunity for community building through the arts. Newcomer families face challenges integrating and establishing roots, and the Voices Rising program offers a natural solution. By bringing children from diverse cultural backgrounds together to sing about universal human experiences, the program fosters friendships and mutual understanding.

We partner with the Multicultural Agency of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) to reach newcomer families and provide them with this opportunity for cultural integration through music. MAGMA also features our choirs in its Mosaїq Multicultural Festival events.
