The GMC Adult Chorus is our original ensemble, and it’s more popular today than ever.
We present at least two new concert programs every year, with live instrumental accompaniment by some of New Brunswick’s finest musicians.
Our music is as diverse as our membership: we sing every choral genre, arranged for mixed choir (SATB), female (SSAA) and male (TTBB) voices.

The GMC Adult Chorus is a great choice for singers who enjoy a challenge and are keen to learn a wide variety of new music, whether by ear or reading notes.
All members, regardless of musical proficiency, should plan to attend rehearsals regularly and practise their parts at home.
Every chorister receives a package of sheet music to keep. Other helpful resources, such as part-specific learning tracks, an events calendar, and weekly rehearsal plans are provided on the Choir Genius platform.
At the first rehearsal, you will meet with our musical director, Melody Dobson, for a placement interview. You will be asked to sing a song of your choosing (Happy Birthday is very popular) so Melody can place you in the section of the choir where your voice will blend in best.
